You might grab your daughter’s 930 hot wheel on the way out the door.

Kinja'd!!!

The sketch under the 930 is my take on the pushed in bumper mod that some 944 owners do, but with a set of compression springs in place of the hydraulic bumper shocks to retain some impact resistance and adjustability of how “in” the bumper is.

Nice.. my kids have a Porsche diecast problem; their Dad keeps bringing them home. I blame this one I had as a kid - 935 slant..

Good choice! I find it easier to just keep a bunch of diecasts on my desk all the time. Right now I’m looking at every version of the 2002 Hot Wheels has made so far and a couple of Matchbox 935s.

I think I will have to get 5 or 50 to keep at work.

Sweet. I got the 930 for my daughter when I bought my 944 car as it was the closest thing that had at target.

I probably have about 50... Makes for good conversation starters with co-workrers though. I have a BMW monitor stand and a Porsche monitor stand.

Co-workers? What are those? (There are two people in my department and we don’t overlap in scheduling). I see my boss every few months and we exchange jalop stories.

Anyways, I think I should get a few for my desk.

Your daughter has excellent taste. I do realize you were the one getting her this one in the first place. Good luck on that bumper mod!

Yeah, when left to her own devices my 2 year old daughter picks very suspect hot wheels and has seemingly no interest in my cosworth escort hot wheel.

Anyways, the bumper thing should be good, most people drill the fluid shocks which is irreversible and then your bumper has little cushion in impacts. Mine should be lighter and reversible if it sucks, and give me a little protection but look better than the weird tongue out of the stock look,
